Joy of Giving Treats to our pet dog and pet cats

For the past few years, I have been feeding both my dog and cat science diet pet food for dogs and cats.

I admit one of the things that draw my attention is "Science" diet, that sounds like they have research and development proper dietary planning for the requirements for your pets right? Plus it helps that they are from the giant corporate "Nestle".

Changing of Pet Food for dog and cat

so we fed them science diet pet food till they are old, and then my husband switched them to raw food diet, give them more meat and raw food to enjoy in their life, as natural intend.

Anyway my cat has aged, and actually, she doesn't like to eat hard biscuits for her meal anymore. We give her softer meat and well, she does take a longer time to chew but she seems to enjoy it.

Her favorite? canned wet cat food, that is softer, wet, and of course more appetizing.
We are giving what she wants for her, because... well she is really old.

Caring for old dog or old cat

maybe that's why we are pampering our dear cat now. she is old now and just had an operation at the vet to remove an eye to relieve the big pressure.
she nows prefer to stay alone in her own corner, far away from us.

ooooo feeding her medicine has been nothing but disastrous.

She is so stubborn, refusing to eat the pill we cut and added into her food.
She will vomit the pill out of the food too even when we start holding her for 20 minutes after feeding in the hope that the pill has reached beyond her ability to vomit out her medicine.

Well.. you can lead a cat to her medicine but you can't force her to digest it.
and she still has sharp claws and teeth lol.

sometimes it takes 3 of us just to feed her medicine, only for her to hide behind the sofa and vomit out all the pet food and the crushed pills in it.

too smart for her own good. :(

Hope to give her a good life.
I do miss giving my dog her favorite dog pet treats like puppy.
Too bad she had an illness, an operation and did not survive it.
I miss you Kiekie.
